連假一開始，國道上陸續有車禍消息傳出，其中知名 YouTuber 千千就在個人 IG 上和粉絲分享，在國道上背後車追撞，事發經過沒有什記憶，幸好 iPhone 和車輛具備事故自動報案語音功能，在警方和救護車目前人無大礙。
iPhone 車禍偵測功能如何運作？
YouTuber 千千提到的自動報案其實是蘋果先前推出的「車禍偵測」功能，如果 iPhone 和 Apple Watch 偵測到使用者遇到嚴重車禍，包含正面撞擊、側面撞擊、追撞或是翻車，不論是房車、廂型車、休旅車、小貨車和其他客車都適用。
iPhone 或 Apple Watch 偵測到車禍當下會先發出警示聲，並在畫面中顯示「看起來你發生車禍」，同時並唸出來提醒使用者（或是螢幕可能在車禍時受損無法顯示）。
如果當下人無大礙，只可以選擇撥打緊急電話或是關閉車禍偵測提示，但如果超過 20 秒回應，手機會自動撥打緊急服務電話，裝置自動撥打電話時，會向緊急應變人員播放循環語音訊息（以所在地區的語言播放），並透過裝置的揚聲器大聲播放，讓他們知道你的 Apple 裝置偵測到嚴重車禍且你沒有回應，裝置也會分享你所在的估計經緯度座標以及搜索半徑。
同時，如果使用者有緊急聯絡人，裝置會傳送訊息來分享使用者的位置，並讓他們知道使用者發生了車禍。
iPhone 的車禍偵測功能預設啟用，只要是：

搭載 iOS 16 或以上版本的 iPhone 14 或後續機型（iPhone 14、iPhone 15、iPhone 16 系列）

搭載 watchOS 9 或以上版本的 Apple Watch Series 8 或後續錶款、Apple Watch SE（第 2 代）和 Apple Watch Ultra 或後續錶款
都會預設開啟車禍偵測功能，但如果曾經關閉車禍偵測功能的話，記得從「設定」、「SOS 緊急服務」中，將「嚴重車禍後撥打電話」功能重新打開。
