you have wrong file directory ,just put your files in correct way which can fix the problem.
for example,

first, ctrl+alt+T to open the terminal,and second type

XXXX:~$>cd desktop

XXXX:~/desktop>tar- zxvf Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz

till now ,same as other talking about.

through it's 3 years ago feedback , i don't care .囧rz
